What type of gear/equipment should I come prepared with?

Campers should wear athletic socks, cool and comfortable clothing, and preferably basketball sneakers. Running sneakers are not recommended due to the likelihood of ankle injuries. A water bottle labeled with the campers name is also recommended. There will be water coolers in each gym that will be available for refills. Indoor and outdoor basketballs are available in the gym and Fieldhouse from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm.  It is not necessary for campers to bring their own basketball.

Please also bring flip flops for the pool as well as a bathing suit and towel if camper plans on swimming during the pool time.

When do I make my final payment?

To secure the camper’s registration a minimum $100 deposit is required.  If you have already paid a deposit, the final balance will be payable at registration (between 8:00-9:00 AM on Monday). Cash, checks, and bank checks are all accepted at this time. You can always mail in the balance due prior to registration.

Are there any special drop-off/pick-up instructions?

Camp will begin promptly at 9:00 am every morning, and will end at 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Campers can be dropped off as early as 8:00 am, and can be picked up until 5:00 pm. NH All-Star Basketball School is not responsible for supervision of any camper other than hours listed.

Who are the best contacts in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency, please contact the Camp Office at:

The Southern New Hampshire University main athletic department number is 603-645-9604

Will lunch be provided?

Lunch is NOT provided, and each camper is responsible for bringing her own. Lunch will take place in the cafeteria on campus, and is available to purchase from Sodexo, the company that is in charge of the cafeteria food.

Pool time?

We allot about 30 minutes of swim time during camp each day. This time usually takes place following lunch. Please be sure to bring a bathing suit, towel, and flip flops if camper plans to take advantage of this opportunity. Each camper will have to pass a simple swim test in order to swim in the pool. Please note that t-shirts and shorts are not allowed in the pool.

What if my camper does not want to use pool time?

While not all campers will want to swim after lunch, the gym will be open during this time for those campers who want to play 3 on 3 games or workout with coaches after lunch or just to mingle with other campers.
